Hyundai Allantra’s base S variant

Hyundai has introduced the refresh lineup of its premium sedan Allantra. With the new lineup, the company has discontinued the base S variant, which means that it will no longer be produced.

With the new lineup, the company has discontinued the base S variant, which means that it will no longer be produced. In the updated lineup, now only three variants SX MT, SX AT and SX (O) AT will be available. After the removal of the base variant, its initial price has increased to Rs 18.49 lakh. The base variant S was priced at Rs 15.89 lakh (Delhi, ex-showroom).

The new Hyundai Allantra will get BS 6 compliant 2 liter petrol engine. It generates 152 PS of power at 6200 rpm and 192 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. The company is preparing to launch its diesel version soon. According to the report, it has a 1.5-liter diesel engine that is also found in other Hyundai cars such as the new-generation Creta, Venue and Verna facelift. It will get 115 PS and 250 Nm torque. It can get a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
